Highway construction project in Telangana to generate business for small contractors
National Highway Authority of India has awarded its highway construction project contract of four laning of NH-365A from Kodad to Khammam in the State of Telangana under Bharatmala Pariyojana on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) on M/s Adani Road Transport Ltd (ARTL).
The construction period of the project is two years, while the operation period is 15 years. With this project award, Adani Group will have a total of eight NHAI road projects under HAM and Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) mode in in Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Gujarat.
Award and execution of the above reflects Government’s commitment to build a strong infrastructure for a new and Atmanirbhar Bharat. This civil construction project will not only bring speed in movement of vehicular traffic of both passengers and goods vehicles but also will create business for many small contractors of the nearby areas.
Many small contractors in the field of civil construction and electrical erection shall be engaged in the project by the TOT contractor. As the big contractors are approaching towards asset light structure nowadays, many small contractors of T & P rental shall find business opportunity during this construction project.
